01 — Market Intelligence
A market-research brief covering the customer avatar, competitors, Voice of Customer, buying context, objections, and the product difference the market needs to understand.
For founders developing or discovering a genuinely new kind of product.
Something genuinely different—not simply something newly listed. A clear reason to choose it. A real explanation for how it works differently.
That's the kind of product De Origination wants to help bring to the U.S. market.
If you've developed something through your own R&D—or discovered a distinctive product with genuine potential—we bring the Shopify, research, funnel, creative, and paid-media capabilities to help build the business around it.
Son leads the strategy and works alongside his team. You bring the product and its difference. We help turn that difference into a clear story, a buying journey, and coordinated execution.
Start with your product—not a payment. We review fit before accepting an engagement.
Six years in U.S. DTC · $10M+ in U.S. DTC revenue generated · Your business assets stay yours
Maybe you kept noticing a problem the existing products didn't solve well.
Maybe you spent months developing a different answer.
Or you found an unusual product and saw an opportunity other people hadn't recognized.
Now comes a different challenge:
How do you help someone who has never seen it understand why they should care?
What do you show first? Which part of the mechanism needs explaining? What should the product page prove? What makes the offer worth acting on?
And once the store is running:
“Are people rejecting the product—or are we failing to make its value clear?”
A Shopify theme can't answer that by itself. Neither can a designer, a media buyer, and an email specialist working from three different understandings of the product.
You don't just need the tasks completed. You need every part of the work to express the same reason to buy.
We want to start with a product that brings something genuinely different to the market.
Then do the work to make that difference understood.
The difference belongs in the product first.
The marketing has to make it clear.
Research identifies who the difference matters to. Creative shows it. The product page explains and supports it. The offer gives the right customer a reason to act.
Buying those services separately doesn't automatically connect them.
De Origination puts strategy and execution under one lead—with a team working toward the same plan.
That's the idea behind De Origination's Shopify Brand Builder.
A hands-on service for product-led founders who need more than a launch checklist.
Son leads the strategy, coordinates his team, and works alongside them. Research, Shopify, the funnel, creative, and paid media sit within the same engagement.
What does the product do? What makes it new? How does its mechanism deliver the benefit? Why would the intended customer choose it?
A USP explains the reason to choose. A mechanism explains how the product delivers. Both need to stand up to questions—not just look good in a headline.
Market, customer, and competitor research shape the message. The product page, offer, post-purchase upsell, and email work carry it through.
Image and video creative. Facebook and TikTok ads. Funnel testing. Email flows and campaigns. CRO and Shopify maintenance.
One strategic lead. One agreed scope. One product truth carried from ad to page to customer.
Not a different story from every department—and not another operation you have to assemble alone.
I'm Son.
I've spent the past six years in DTC, Shopify, and brand building for the U.S. market, generating more than $10 million in U.S. DTC revenue along the way.
I'm still building and scaling brands.
De Origination brings that team, skill set, and toolset to founders with genuinely different products and the ambition to build around them.
I lead the strategy. I coordinate the team. And I stay hands-on in the execution.
You're not buying a collection of lessons and being told to figure out the rest. You're bringing in people to help do the work.
I want to understand what you found or developed, how it works, and why it deserves a place in the market. Your margins and market opportunity still have to make sense, too.
You bring the product insight. We bring experienced people to help build the business around it.
— Son, De Origination
You want people to understand what makes it different.
To recognize the problem it solves. To see why it works the way it does. To remember your brand for something more than a discount.
Picture discussing the next campaign with a team that already understands the product's mechanism—not starting every brief by explaining it all over again.
Picture reviewing a product page that leads with the reason you believed in the product in the first place.
And picture staying close to the part of the business only you can own, while experienced people help carry the work around it.
Stay in the founder's seat.
Build a brand worthy of the product insight.
By this point, you probably know whether this sounds like your product.
You have a genuinely distinctive product concept or product type—not just a new store to put it in.
Your USP is specific: there is a real reason to choose it over the existing alternatives.
Your mechanism is explainable: something in how the product works, is constructed, or delivers its benefit makes that difference credible.
And you want to build a U.S. DTC brand through Shopify—not simply list an item and hope an ad makes it sell.
Founder-developed and R&D-led products are especially interesting to us. We also consider unusual products founders have discovered; you don't need to claim you invented the category to start the conversation.
Standard mugs, T-shirts, or familiar catalog products whose main difference is artwork, branding, packaging, price, or an ad angle. Nor is it for a “new mechanism” that exists only as a marketing name.
New to your store isn't the same as new to the market.
POD, dropshipping, or your own manufacturing: the fulfillment model doesn't waive the product-level standard. If the product isn't a fit, we won't take on the engagement.
The first seven calendar days of your first month are built around one objective:
Complete the agreed internal build and setup for the launch system—so the brand is prepared for real traffic, customer journeys, and the first paid-media campaigns as soon as any required provider approvals and domain propagation are in place.
By day three, our target is the agreed storefront build—theme, homepage, PDP, copy, media, structure, and layout—ready within the requirements and scope confirmed at kickoff.
By the end of day seven, our internal build and setup for the wider launch system around that storefront are complete.
A market-research brief covering the customer avatar, competitors, Voice of Customer, buying context, objections, and the product difference the market needs to understand.
The core brand system—logo, color palette, and moodboard—created, with the agreed domain and branded-email-domain setup completed on our side so the business looks and communicates like one brand.
Shopify admin configured with store policies and essential settings, with the payment-gateway configuration or application completed and submitted where required—ready to process transactions once any external provider approval is granted.
A Shopify theme, homepage, and PDP assembled with the copy, media, structure, and layout needed to explain the product and move the right customer toward a decision.
The path around the sale internally configured and connected across the PDP, cart, checkout, post-purchase upsell, and core email flows—so the journey doesn't stop at “Add to Cart.”
An audit of the creative resources you already have, a clear view of the gaps, and new image or video assets produced for the first Facebook or TikTok paid-media campaigns.
The agreed ad account, Facebook Page, Pixel and event setup configured, with the first campaign build ready to activate once any required platform approvals are complete.
The agreed in-house apps and workflows connected for order fulfillment, tracking, and internal visibility—including the dashboard or operational handoff defined in your scope.
That is what “starting” means here: not seven days of calls, folders, and plans—seven days aimed at creating the system your product needs to enter the market.
The seven-day timeline begins at kickoff with the required product information, brand decisions, assets, and account access available. External platform approvals and domain propagation can continue beyond day seven because those decisions sit with the providers—not with De Origination.
Once the launch system is in place, the rest of the engagement is about learning, improving, and carrying one product truth through every customer touchpoint.
Exact deliverables, production volume, and priorities are agreed with each client.
Use live questions, objections, and campaign signals to deepen the customer view and refine the message—not freeze the initial market brief forever.
Build the next image and video concepts around what the market is showing us, with the product mechanism and demonstration kept at the center.
Once the required platform approvals are in place, launch and manage the agreed Facebook or TikTok campaigns, connecting media decisions to the creative, offer, and page customers actually see.
Work across product pages, cart, post-purchase upsells, email flows, and CRO so the customer journey becomes a system we can keep improving.
Maintain the theme, apps, tracking, product uploads, and store priorities that continue after launch week.
For qualifying POD businesses and scoped operational needs, continue product R&D, personalized uploads, fulfillment tools, and dashboard work within the agreed engagement.
The first week builds the runway. The rest of the work helps the brand use it.
Bringing in help shouldn't mean handing over ownership of what you're building.
Your store. Your ad accounts. Your data. Your creative and source files.
They stay yours.
De Origination provides the strategy and execution. The business assets remain with the client.
And because the scope is agreed together, you can ask the practical questions before committing: what gets done, what you provide, what the timeline looks like, and what costs sit outside the service fee.
You should know what you're buying—not discover it halfway through.
For an accepted POD business using all seven services below, these are De Origination's standalone monthly base fees. Individual commissions are agreed separately.
| Standalone service | Monthly base fee | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| Email Marketing | $500 | Agreed per client |
| Designer | $300 | Agreed per client |
| Personalized Product Upload | $300 | — |
| Facebook Ads & TikTok Ads | $1,000 | Agreed per client |
| AI Ad Creative | $500 | Agreed per client |
| POD Product R&D | $700 | Agreed per client |
| CRO | $500 | — |
| Combined standalone base fees | $3,800/month | Plus applicable commissions |
Together, those standalone base fees add up to $3,800/month, before applicable commissions.
The ongoing POD package is $2,000/month per store/brand + 2% of Shopify Net Revenue—a $1,800 difference in monthly base fees when the scopes are comparable.
This compares base fees only. Individual commissions vary. Non-POD / Dropshipping pricing is shown below.
But the price is only part of the reason to bring the work together.
The larger value is one experienced lead coordinating the work around the same product truth.
Every accepted engagement begins with the launch system described above, adapted to the agreed product, business model, and scope.
For qualifying POD and Non-POD / Dropshipping clients, the first month also begins with 50% off the normal base fee.
POD begins at $999. Non-POD / Dropshipping begins at $699. Both include 2% of Shopify Net Revenue—including month one.
The reduced first-month base fee changes the price, not the claim: it is not a free trial, money-back guarantee, or promise of campaign results.
For accepted products with a real USP and a clear mechanism.
Your first-seven-day launch system—followed by the research, creative, funnel, ads, email, and Shopify work that keeps the brand moving.
An experienced lead and his team, working on your brand—not another pile of tasks for you to figure out alone.
Qualifying POD products · 50% off your first month's base fee.
Then $2,000/month from month two, per store/brand.
Plus 2% of Shopify Net Revenue every month, including month one.
Qualifying Non-POD / Dropshipping products · 50% off your first month's base fee.
Then $1,400/month from month two, per store/brand.
Plus 2% of Shopify Net Revenue every month, including month one.
Deliverables and production volume are agreed with each client. The first-month offer reduces the base fee; it doesn't remove the revenue commission.
The commission is based on Shopify Net Revenue—not profit. The exact revenue definition, scope, engagement terms, and any separate costs are confirmed before work begins.
We're already doing this work for brands. The team, skills, and tools are already part of how we operate. You're engaging that existing capability—not assembling each function from scratch.
Call Son at +84 982 974 989. Tell us what the product is, what makes it different, and how its mechanism works. We'll discuss whether it fits before talking about an engagement.
Yes—if you already have a genuinely distinctive product with a clear USP and mechanism for us to review. A finished Shopify store is not required. A product with substance is.
Yes. Son leads the strategy, coordinates his team, and remains hands-on in execution. This isn't a strategy-only engagement where you're left to implement the plan yourself.
We agree on deliverables and volume with each client. Your business gets a defined scope—not a vague “unlimited” promise. POD-specific work and custom tools are scoped to your needs.
The first seven calendar days begin at kickoff with the required information, assets, decisions, and account access available. De Origination completes the agreed research, brand, Shopify, funnel, creative, media-infrastructure, and operational setup described above. Payment providers, ad platforms, registrars, and DNS services control their own approvals and propagation, so those external decisions may remain pending after our setup is complete. “Ready” does not mean campaign results are guaranteed.
No. For POD and Non-POD / Dropshipping, it's 2% of Shopify Net Revenue, including month one. We confirm the precise revenue definition before starting.
Scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, revenue calculation, payment and cancellation terms, and responsibility for ad spend, apps, subscriptions, tools, hosting, and other separate costs. The first-month offer reduces the base fee—not the revenue commission—and is not a revenue, profit, or money-back guarantee.
Son stays involved in the work. That shapes how many new clients we take on.
De Origination takes on only 2–3 new clients per quarter to protect service quality.
Product fit comes first. Availability comes next.
Ask about the next available start date when we talk.
You can keep briefing separate specialists, connecting each decision, and carrying the product story between them yourself.
That path can work. It also leaves you coordinating the system.
Or, if you have a genuinely distinctive product, you can begin with one strategic lead and a team working toward the same launch system.
Start with the thing you found or developed—not the list of services you want to buy.
Tell us what it is. What makes it different. Why someone should choose it. How its mechanism delivers the benefit.
A product link, demonstration, or explanation of your R&D will make the first conversation more useful.
If we see real differentiation and potential, we can discuss building the brand around it.
Because Son stays in the work, De Origination accepts only 2–3 new clients per quarter. Ask about the next available start date when we talk.
For qualifying POD products, the first month's base fee is $999, then $2,000/month from month two. For qualifying Non-POD / Dropshipping products, it is $699, then $1,400/month from month two. Both are per store/brand, plus 2% of Shopify Net Revenue—including month one.

P.S. If the product has a real reason to exist in the market, show us the mechanism. The first conversation starts there.
